KNPC Receives 16 Modern and Advanced Fire Fighter Engines
The Company received 16 modern and advanced Fire Fighter Egines from the well-established American company "Pierce" for Firefighting and Rescue equipment, specialized in manufacturing such type of vehicles.
Company CEO, Waleed Al-Bader, accompanied by DCEO for Support Services, Abdulaziz Al-Duaij, visited the Firefighting Support and Training Center, during which he inspected this batch of Engines, being the first of 23 new Firefighting vehicles that the Company had contracted to purchase at the end of 2019. Al-Bader also listened to a detailed explanation on their specifications, presented by the Acting Manager of the Security and Fire Department, Awad Salem, and the two Senior Fire Officers, Ali Al-Mansour, and Abdullah Al-Ajmi.
The purchase of these modern Engines aims at supporting and enhancing the capabilities of the Center, to enable it to meet the requirements of the great expansion that the Company business and strategic projects have necessitated during recent years.
This batch comprises eight Fire Fighting Engines, four Tankers carrying Foam, two Water Tankers, and another two as stand-by and support Firefighters during incidents. This type of Vehicles complies with the standards of the American Fire Protection Association "NFPA", and is equipped to deal with huge industrial facilities, as it was specifically designed to meet the requirements and needs of the Company, and the workspaces between the Units of the Refineries.
