KNPC Opens The 1st New Fuel Station in Jaber Al-Ahmad City

CEO Waleed Al-Bader has inaugurated filling station No. 134 in Jaber Al-Ahmad Residential City, being the first new filling station to be opened therein, among a number of stations to be carried out in the new residential cities which are located  north and south of Kuwait.
 
Al-Bader affirmed that this station is one of 8 stations being carried out by Khalid Ali Al-Kharafi & Brothers Company for Construction Contracting, 4 of which were in Jaber Al-Ahmad City, two stations in Saad Al-Abdullah City, and one in northwest Sulaibikhat, and another one in Abdali farms.
 
CEO added that these stations are due to start operating early 2020, in addition to opening another ten stations being constructed by Combined Group Contracting Company, nine of which are in Sabah Al-Ahmad City, and one is in Al-Wafra area.
 
On his part, DCEO for Fuel Supply Operations Ghanem Al-Otaibi said that the stations in question are being built according to the latest modern designs and outfitted with solar energy technology, by installing solar panels that produce 30% of the station's electricity consumption.
