KNPC Hosts the Meeting of GCC Committee for Cybersecurity

As part of GCC cooperation in the field of information security, the Gulf Information Security Committee for the Oil Sector held a meeting in the company's head office, presided by DCEO of projects and the CEO Representative of KPC in the Committee Abdullah Fahad Al-Ajmi.

In this regard, Al-Ajmi stressed the importance of exchanging expertise and information in the field of cybersecurity in light of the growing information dangers in the oil sector in the region.

For her part, the Chairman of the Committee on Cybersecurity in the Kuwaiti oil sector Dr. Reem Al-Shammari of KOC explained the latest developments in the field of cybersecurity in the region during the current period. However, the experiences of oil companies in Kuwait were addressed.

The meeting included panel discussions in which experiences, best practices and precautionary measures in the area of information security among member companies were shared.

In conclusion, Al-Ajmi stressed the importance of exchanging information between companies in the oil and gas sector in the region and cooperation with fundamental parties in this context.
