Ministry of Electricity & Water & Renewable Energy at KNPC

Managers IT, Naji Al-Marri, and Team Leader Information Security Husain Al-Bustan welcomed Acting Assistant Undersecretary Planning, Training & Manager Department of Information Systems Center, Ali Sha’ban heading the MEWRE engineers’ delegation on their visit to the KNPC with exchanging cyber security experiences in scope.
 
The IT Department gave a presentation on the Company practice in the subject matter issue and how it evolved towards KNPC owning the first of its kind cyber security center that is capable of controlling and protecting the internal network devices as well as the refineries facilities and control equipment.
 
As the delegation toured the IT department, Al-Bustan also gave an elaborated explanation about the Center’s contents, functions, and mechanism.
