Al-Ahmadi Governor and Al-Duaij Discusses Means of Cooperation

Al-Ahmadi Governor Sheikh Fawaz Al-Khalid, received KNPC DCEO Support Services Abdulaziz Al-Duaij, as the meeting addressed the current and future tasks and projects of the Company.
 
Sheikh Fawaz expressed pride in the vital and important role of the work, production and service sectors in the governorate’s administrative sphere, atop of which is the oil sector and oil related companies.
 
The two sides discussed prospects for cooperation between the governorate and the Company to serve Al- Ahmadi residents in various environmental, educational and social fields.
 
From his side, Al Duaij asserted that the Company prioritizes the social responsibility, and emphasized on the integration of efforts between the KNPC and the governorate to provide meaningful social, environmental and educational services. “The Company's role in this aspect was manifested in countering the impacts of the Coronavirus pandemic and I am optimistic for a new start through the implementation of effective and diverse activities,” he added.
 
Al-Duaij also pointed that KNPC has conducted numerous social activities over the past years, including protection of the environment through building a large reserve in Al-Wafra area, besides activities that support the educational process at schools, public benefit associations, and governmental institutions.
 
The meeting was concluded by KNPC DCEO S.S  expressing how the Company is aware of its duties and responsibilities towards the society, adding that all products of the recently commissioned Clean Fuels Project are environmentally friendly.
