KNPC Launches a New Filling Station in Al-Wafra Residential City

Today, KNPC has inaugurated a new Filling Station in Al-Wafra Residential City, located in the South of the Country, about 85 kilometers from the Capital City.

Filling Station No. 133 sells petroleum products of all kinds and offers integrated services, including a Minimarket and an ATM. The Station comprises Solar Panels that produce 30% of the Station’s electricity consumption, and a Vapor Recovery Unit (VRU) while filling the vehicle’s tank with fuel, which condenses and returns it to the tank, the thing which reduces Air Pollution.

Moreover, the Station utilizes a special system to measure fuel levels in the tanks, linked to the Company's Depots, which in the event of a low level of fuel therein, notifies that a fuel tanker be sent instantly to the Station, ensuring the continuous workflow without interruption.

With the opening of this Station, the number of Fuel Stations that the Company has inaugurated since December 2019 will reach 17 out of the 18 Stations, which constitute almost the first batch, as part of a strategic plan that reflects the Company's keenness to meet the population's need for petroleum products in different parts of the Country, especially in the newly constructed residential areas. The plan includes constructing 100 new Filling Stations by 2030.
