Hashem Receives an Outstanding International Award for his Environmental Efforts
Kuwait Petroleum Corporation Chief Executive Officer Hashem Hashem was awarded the UN Global Climate Action Award for the year 2021, in recognition of his environmental efforts over his career, and as one of the prominent oil leaders in the Arab world.
Hashem received this Award from the the Head of the UN Human Settlements Program Mission for the Arab Gulf region (Habitat) Dr. Ameera Al-Hassan during a special event attended by the Minister of Oil and Minister of Higher Education Dr. Mohammed Abdul Latif Al-Faris.
This Award reflects the great efforts that Hashem has undertaken and is still doing to protect and preserve the environment. It is also a renowned International Certificate for the hard work and progress made by Kuwait Petroleum Corporation and its Subsidiaries for a clean environment and pollution-free.
