Hashem Commends KNPC Achievements
Kuwait Petroleum Corporation CEO, Hashem Sayed Hashem, commended KNPC achievements in terms of executing its Mega Projects, despite the repercussions and effects imposed by the Corona pandemic worldwide.
During a visit to Mina Abdullah Refinery, Hashem, accompanied by a number of KPC Board Members, were briefed on the great efforts accomplished by the Employees in commissioning the remaining of the Clean Fuels Project (CFP) Units in the Refinery, in preparation for its completion, and then officially announcing the final commissioning of the Project.
For his part, KNPC CEO, Waleed Al-Bader, after welcoming the guests, highlighted the role of the national cadres at MAB and MAA Refineries, stressing their efforts as it constitute the cornerstone on which the Company relies on in carrying out its Projects and enhancing its role and position.
Al-Bader pointed in particular to the CFP, which is nearby to announcing its full commissioning, noting that this Mega Project constitutes a unique case in the world, as it was accomplished in parallel with maintaining the continuation of the two Refineries to perform their tasks, and without affecting their usual production rates.
During the visit, Hashem and his companions listened to explanations provided by a number of Company Officials related to the steps that have been achieved on the path to the full commissioning of CFP, the challenges and difficulties faced by the work teams during the various execution stages, and how those teams were able to overcome them by providing practical and innovative solutions.
