Operating CFP Boilers at MAB

All the Clean Fuels Project boilers at Mina Abdullah Refinery, which cover the needs of the project from the steam needed to operate its various units, are fully operational through gas burning operations that take into account the permissible limits of gaseous emissions approved by the Environment Public Authority.
 
Operating the high-pressure six boilers makes the company capable of providing the entire needs of the project's production and support units with steam. On the other hand, the production capacity of each boiler is 380,000 pounds per hour (PPH), which can be increased when needed, to reach 420,000 PPH.
 
Boilers are the main gear for operating the rotating equipment in the project, and the steam is also used in heat exchange operations. KNPC has fully relied on its trained national cadres in operating thereof, and it has thus been able to overcome many of the challenges arising from the spread of COVID -19.
