KNPC Inaugurates a New Filling Station in Saad Al-Abdullah City - Station No. 131

KNPC has inaugurated a new filling station in Saad Al-Abdullah Residential City, Block 8, being the second station that the company operates therein during the current year.
 
The Company stated in a press release that inaugurating this Station No. 131 comes as part of the company's plan to build 18 new filling stations in various parts of the country, as a first batch on a long-term plan that extends to the year 2030, which includes the construction of 100 stations, with which the company keeps pace with the residential expansion and meets the needs of the inhabitants, especially in the newly populated areas.
 
The Company stated that 13 stations have been inaugurated so far, five of which are in Sabah Al-Ahmad residential city, four in Jaber Al-Ahmad residential city, two in Saad Al-Abdullah city, and one in each of Northwest Al-Sulaibikhat and Abdali farms.
 
The Company stated further that the new station has a modern design and uses advanced solar energy technology that enables it to produce clean energy that provides 30 percent of the station's need for electricity, and it also contains a vapor recovery unit (VRU) that captures the vapors while filling the car's tank with fuel, then condenses them and returns thereof to the tank, the thing which contributes to protecting the environment.
 
Additional services are available at the station, such as a mini-market, an ATM, a prayer room, car wash and maintenance services, water and air filling points. Moreover, the station allows its visitors to pay for their fuel consumption through advanced and easy-to-use electronic technologies and applications.
