KNPC Signs a Contract for Establishing 9 Filling Stations
KNPC signed a contract with Khalid Ali Al-Kharafi & Brothers Company for establishing 9 new filling stations in different areas of Kuwait. However, it is the second batch of a package including 19 filling stations as the company signed early this month another contract for establishing 10 filling stations.
The contract duration is 365 days, worth KD 14,45 million. The new stations will be established in new areas north Kuwait including Jaber Al-Ahmad, Saad Al-Abdullah, Abdally Farms and North West Sulaibikhat. Solar energy will be used to provide the new stations with electricity which mirrors the company interest in environment.
Acting CEO Fahad Al-Daihany highlighted the significance of establishing such projects due to the shortage of filling stations in those residential areas. He has also called for accomplishing the project on time besides abiding by HSE regulations to avoid all incidents during execution stage.
Al-Daihany revealed that the project is part of a bigger plan for establishing 100 filling stations that will contribute to developing services and reducing pressure on the current stations. He said the new designs feature the civilized image of the company, too.
Acting CEO Fahad Al-Daihany and the Chairman of Khalid Ali Al-Kharafi & Brothers Company Waleed Al-Kharafi signed the contract by the presence of a number of figures of the two sides.
