KNPC marks launching the 10th year of “Sustainability” initiative in which four sustainability reports were issued and the company reiterated its commitment to its corporate social responsibility and reflected the efforts of all employees in the company’s core and support businesses as well as the continued support of the internal and external stakeholders.
CEO Mohammed Ghazi Al-Mutairi said that this historic event mirrors KNPC commitment to sustainability and confirms its responsibility towards its employees, environment, community and towards strong relationship with stakeholders.
“The company was the first in the GCC countries to issue such an outstanding sustainability report, the thing which extends its presence on the sustainability map worldwide and helps maintain its leading position in the oil and gas sector for ten years,” added Al-Mutairi.
DCEO for Support Services Nasser Al-Shamma said that KNPC always invested in promoting the social awareness and supporting the charities dictated by its initiatives and projects owing to its high sense of corporate social responsibility.
On her part, CCD Dept. Manager Khuloud Al-Mutairi thanked the stakeholders and appreciated that they joined the company on the tenth occasion of its constant commitment in writing sustainability reports in terms of initiatives, approaches, performance and long-term objectives.
