Chairman’s Message
Dear Local Manufacturers, Contractors,
and Vendors …
This issue comes after an important
event that was arranged by KNPC on 16 June 2009, which some of you have
attended, to elect the members of your Council, the ‘Supplier Partnership
Advisory Council’, which I’m honored to chair.
It is appropriate to quote part of the
speech of Eng. Farouk Al-Zenki, KNPC Chairman and Managing Director, in that
event as he expressed precisely our aim in our relationship with you:
“Yes, and without introductions or
prolonging … we want your partnership… yes, partnership with our local vendors,
manufacturers and contractors.

We want the partnership…
because we deeply believe that it brings
goodness and development
to our beloved Kuwait.
·
And because we believe in
teamwork.
·
And in a balanced relationship
and mutual respect and understanding.
·
And in the value of
transparency and candor in our business.
·
And because partnership serves
the interest of all of us.
Yes, we want the partnership:
·
In which we learn and benefit
from each other’s experience.
·
In which we work together to
improve the quality of national products.
·
That is based on treating all
fairly.
·
That improves the competition
level among all of you.
·
In which one party’s gain does
not become a loss for the other.
·
That does not mean compromising
commitment with contracts.
And I promise you, on behalf of KNPC,
that we:

Will be open to your
suggestions and your Council’s ideas.
·
Will be serious and sincere at
applying what is agreed upon.
·
Will do our best to realize all
the meanings and aspects of partnership with you".
All the best wishes for the SPAC. We
look forward to following up on the accomplishments of the SPAC in the upcoming
issues of this newsletter, and we seek God’s aid to attain what we all aspire
for from our partnership.
